Help! The enemy is resisting arrest!

Often when praying for people, a stand still can happen before freedom occurs. We have found some scriptures that are ultra powerful at this time.  

Instructions: When commanding the enemy to go, sometimes there will be a resistance. Here’s what I would do if this were to happen:

1. Make sure that there are no legal grounds for the enemy to stay. (Repentance, Forgiveness, Soul Ties broken (if needed), Lies abolished.)  For example, if you have commanded fear to go and it refuses to leave, then just ask God if there are any issues the person bound by fear has that needs to be addressed.

2.  Make sure the person really does want to let it go.

3. If these two things are in order, then I would recommend one person begin praying the scripture that is listed for whatever it is that you’re trying to command to go. For example, if the person is hearing in their head, “I will not go. You cannot make me go.” Then just read the scriptures under authority.

If  depression refuses to lift, then begin reading and digesting the scripture under heaviness.

Often the response will be immediate. The enemy does not like the Word.  I can’t say that I understand the depth of his loathing for God’s Word, but he cannot withstand the power of it. So, go for it! Read the Word and watch God shine His light and do the beautiful things that He alone does!
