The Love of a Good Father

We were praying with a woman today when I saw the most fantastic picture/vision. I so enjoy watching Him love people so thoroughly and as people get set free, I get to see insights into the character and nature of the One who frees us all.

We were praying over this woman who has had difficulty finding value in herself. Guilt and shame from the past has kept her bound and feeling rejected for a long time. Imagine my extreme delight when as we were praying for her that I saw the Lord. The following is the basic detail of what I saw:

I saw that the Lord was singing over her. He was smiling the most captivating smile and His love was pure and sweet. As He rejoiced, I saw Him throwing something up into the air. As He did, heaven became alive and was rejoicing with Him. What I saw in His hands was round ball-like jewels (precious gems.)

He didn’t do this just once, but many times while we were praying, He smiled, loved, and threw the gemstones/jewels up into the air like confetti. Get this:  Diamonds, sapphires and rubies became beautiful confetti, but the real jewel was this woman. She was who He loved. He saw value in her…and what we would typically find valuable was just confetti. He really is full of love for us and finds such value in His kids.

Imagine if you will the view of gemstones tossed into the air in heaven where the light flashes through them like a brilliant beam of glowing light. But in His eyes, the broken woman in need of healing was who had His attention. He thinks she is beautiful.

Just Wow.
